For a big international production company we are looking for candidate for the position of Product Engineer - Automotive
Job duties:
As a product engineer you will lead the development of new products and be part of international cross functional project teams. These new products are strategic building blocks for gasoline product lines to cover all market requirements.
You are in charge of specifying, designing and testing new product concepts that meet market requirements.
You drive the complete specification and qualification process. You permanently partner with designers, structural mechanics experts, test engineers, materials experts, manufacturing experts, quality experts. Depending on your level of experience and after first experience with our products and business you eventually take the lead of broader projects and group of engineers.
You drive technically and functionally key tasks from product design to product qualifications.
You are accountable for product definition, product performance, reliability and quality of design and specifications of the components and sub systems you. For this purpose you work with modern reliability and mechanical engineering simulation tools (FEA, CFD, DFMEA, reliability tools, ANSYS, Abaqus, Design for Six Sigma).
You bring your product expertise to support our customer teams for applications launch and early business development for critical business win
REQUIREMENTS
University mechanical engineering or internal combustion engines degree
5 – 7 years experience in product development or related activities with suppliers or as member of an engineering center
Fluency in English is a must.
