DESCRIPTION
For a big international production and R&D company we are looking for candidate for the position of Senior Automotive Engineer
The successful candidate for this position will have the opportunity to conceive, design, analyze and develop cutting edge new turbocharging concepts as a member of a select team of innovators. The intent of the team structure will be to be as self-sufficient as possible and utilize multi-talented engineers who can not only design and develop a product but contribute to the group's projects with key technical analytical skills such as aerodynamics, rotordynamics, thermo-mechanical analysis, turbocharger matching/performance simulation, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
B.S. Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree or equivalent
3 or more years work experience developing mechanical devices/components/systems
Active English
Additional Qualifications
Technical expertise (M.S., PhD or work experience) in some facet of engineering related to turbochargers - internal combustion engines, aerodynamics, rotordynamics, thermo-mechanical analysis, turbocharger matching/performance simulation
- Work experience developing products in the automotive, aerospace or power generation industries
- Basic understanding of internal combustion engines and turbochargers
- Strong bias for action
- Ability to motivate people without direct control
- Ability to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of cultures and disciplines
