For our newly established Financial Shared Service Centre in Prague we are looking for experienced candidates for the position of General Ledger Team Lead. In this role you will be responsible for managing a team of 5 accountants, achieving performance targets of the team, supervising General Ledger processes in the team, providing excellent level of customer support to client entities.
Key responsibilities:
• Leading and supervising General Ledger operations
• Managing the performance of the team, ensuring that the service levels are met
• Setting, managing and achieving strategic goals for the team
• Monitoring risk of service provided and ensuring implementation of mitigation measures
• Coaching, mentoring and developing team members
• Providing operational support to team members
• Handling client communication and escalations
Requirements:
• Education in the field of Accounting/Finance/Economics or similar
• Very good command of English (written and spoken)
• 2- 4 years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience in a people management role
• Ability to work under pressure
• Drive for results
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong Leadership and Customer handling skills
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
