For our international client, leading IT company, we are searching for a successful candidate for a challenging position
Job description
- Provide data related operational support for key business function areas
- Development and application of exploratory and predictive statistical models in the field of Marketing & Sales strategy
- Extract data from Marketing Data Warehouse
- Develop content driven models to explain existing structures and predict outcomes of marketing and sales activities
- Perform scoring output diagnostics
- Perform Data Quality Assurance tasks
- Applying multivariate statistics to marketing data
- Create ad-hoc models to respond to specific needs from Marketing & Sales
- Working with IBM SPSS, Microsoft SQL Server and IBM Modeler in a complex data environment
- Consulting of Database Marketers and Marketing Managers regarding applied statistical analysis (scoring) and list optimization
Desired profile
- Proven competence in a major statistical software package (e.g. R, SAS, IBM SPSS) on macro programming level. Ideally on IBM SPSS / Clementine (IBM SPSS Modeler)
- BA (MA preferred) in either Business Administration or Marketing related subject (Social Science, Applied Statistics …)
- Excellent written and oral communications in English, German - nice to have
- Capable of identifying ways in which data assets can be optimized for use in marketing
- !!! At least 2 years’ experience in real world B2B marketing
- Good knowledge in SQL (ideally T-SQL) or experiences in working with relational databases
- Knowledge of how software/applications are used to analyze marketing data, database marketing concepts & list industry
- Strong cross-functional and process orientation. Able to think as a business person, work with and direct others across analytic, operations and campaign marketing functions within and outside of established analytic and operational templates and processes
- Experience working in a cross-functional, matrixed organization, including understating of global/regional/country organizational dynamics
- Excellent project management skills; detail-oriented
