To support the growth of our activity and to reinforce our newly created Regional Support Centre EMEA, the Regus Group is looking for multilingual & multicultural Regional Financial Controller.
Working in a truly international environment with fantastic career opportunities available, you will be responsible for the financial administration of all centres within the Cluster. More than a pure financial position, you will be a partner to the business, providing all pertinent information to manage a profitable organisation with aggressive growth plans. Forecasting future performance through regular budget exercises is a key part of the role.
You will also be responsible for the provision of accurate and timely financial data according to both IFRS accounting principles as well as local statutory requirements, via the supervision of a team of accountants based in Prague and (possibly) in country.
This is a newly created role – you will be responsible for building a team in Prague, understanding and transitioning the accounting from the Cluster/Country into Prague, getting a hands-on in-depth understanding of accounting as it stands today, and planning the transition from the Cluster/Country into Prague.
To be considered suitable for this role, you will have/be:
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in a similar role in an international environment.
• Fluent English is a must, good level of Dutch or German is an advantage.
• Accountancy background, preferably with IFRS accounting standards.
• Analytical mind with attention to detail, and ability to “think out of the box”.
• A self-starter, able to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment.
• Integrity, loyalty and confidentiality.
• Excellent managerial and communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills, proficient with Microsoft suite of products, ability to work with sophisticated financial reporting systems (HFM and SUN Account a plus).
• Team player, flexible, open-minded, commercial, responsible.
• High level of motivation and positive approach.
