Our client, a global pharmaceutical company is currently strengthening its operational presence in Czech and Slovak republics. They are looking for a Medical Adviser to provide the medical insight into the therapeutic areas of infectious diseases and urology.
Your duties will lay in management of internal and external relationships within area of responsibility, which will be the products life-cycle management and leading and developing the local medical strategy and medical activities for the products in accordance to internal and external regulations. As such you will be reporting directly to Medical Director and working within cross-functional team (e.g. commercial, clinical development, EU teams, regulatory, etc.) You will be responsible for therapeutic area and/or product specific medical training and you will ensure consistency of medical content and scientific messages across various tools and materials.
The successful candidate will hold a Medical or Veterinary degree (experience in Infectious Diseases and/or Urology will be advantage) and will possess sound clinical knowledge (study design, study evaluation, medical writing skills, KOL management, etc.). Moreover you will have good organisational skills with ability to work diligently, accurately and under pressure either individually or as a part of the team. You will have natural curiosity and willingness to expand your medical, scientific and market knowledge. Strong communication skills and fluency in Czech and/or Slovak language and English language both written and spoken is a must as well as excellent presentation skills and demonstrable leadership skills. The position requires local and international travel (around 30% of the work time) and the candidate has to be computer literate.
