FSSC ACCOUNTANT with English and Slovenina

Location PRAGUE

Job purpose:

The jobholder is appointed to perform the Accounting function for the selected country including reporting, preparation of respective tax returns and liaison with the FSSC Head and Country Chief Accountant.

Operational and functional reporting:

Operational - FSSC Head for ENE OBU
Functional - Country Chief Accountant

Operational roles and responsibilities:

Journal posting, account reconciliation, accruals, month-end, year-end and ad-hoc reporting, preparation of respective tax returns. Key contact to country Chief Accountant, OBU Controller and Business.

Functional roles and responsibilities:

Liaison with AP and AR clerks for the respective country for ensuring process and data consistency.
Liaison with Country Chief Accountant to maintain processes in line with legislative requirements, ad-hoc escalation and query resolution.

Main tasks:

• Journal posting
• Performing month-end and year-end account reconciliation
• Monthly and ad-hoc reporting
• Providing input for budgeting and forecasting
• Preparing respective tax returns
• Taking part in audit process
• Adhering to internal procedures/processes and their implementation
• Participation in special projects
• AP and AR tasks
• Strong relationship to country Chief Accountant and OBU Controlling

Requirements (background, experience, language):

•Package( salary, bonus, car, stock options)
•At minimum 2-3 years of accountancy-related working experience in accounting positions
•University degree in finance or economics is an advantage
•Speak fluently Slovenian and English, any other language is an advantage
•PC skills (advanced Excel and some ERP system, SAP is an advantage)

Your responsibilities will be:
- Control of accounting
- Match invoices with Purchase Orders and/or receipts
- Answer and manage supplier queries regarding payments
- Following collections strategies by making sure the contact with the clients is kept
- Prepare monthly balance shee
- Taking part in audit process
- AP and AR tasks

REQUIREMENTS

- Fluent Slovenian and English
- University degree
- Financial accountancy experience within multi-national organization (min. 2 years)
