We are now looking for candidates to fill positions in Procurement function of ExxonMobil's Business Support Centre.

Procurement professionals purchase goods and services, and manage warehouse inventories for various plants and business lines accross Europe.

As a Procurement Associate you will be responsible for:
* purchasing of goods and services for various production sites and/or business lines across Europe
* interaction with internal clients to clarify requirements and agree on procurement tactics
* interaction with external suppliers to negotiate and award term-agreements as well as address queries and issues
* preparation and administration of tenders, supplier relationship and management of a portfolio of 50 or more term-agreements

REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking enthusiastic candidates with:

* very good command of English language

Description

The primary function is the Procurement Process:

Source selection, cost reduction, soliciting bids, schedule, cost price analysis, negotiation, contract, special expediting, settling terms and conditions, understanding specifications, supporting VAVE activities and applying contract administration.

Qualifications

High school/University degree in business, economics, finance or related field or equivalent work experience
Four years experience working in similar position including work leadership experience
Fluency in English language
Italian and or German is advantage
Ability to learn and utilize computer for standard business applications including work processing, spreadsheet and database applications
Project Management experience is highly desired
Excellent negotiating skills

Key Accountabilities

• Is accountable for overall lowest cost and efficient transport planning for Germany
• Is accountable to coordinate the internal and external transport capacity usage and availability.
• Is accountable for the communication towards the hauliers to confirm transport planning and needs.
• Is accountable to ensure that the non compliant transport is corrected and confirmed afterwards and communicated to the appropriate team.
• Is accountable that transport exceptions and last minute demands are executed and managed and communicated.
• Is accountable for the evaluation of transport and Suppliers regarding service and costs
• Is accountable for the holiday planning of regional drivers, by collecting the info from different sites
• Further elaborate regional transport expertise
• Serve as contact point within the team
• Serve as a mentor to your team members

We require
• Graduate degree
• Fluency in English and German
• Domestic transport planning for minimum 2 years within a similar environment and size of FMCG company.
• Supply chain overall, packaging and logistics knowledge.
• Team spirit
• Good communication skills.
• Acceptance to give support outside working hours if required.
• Experience in MS-Excel, SAP experience
• TMS/portal experience is an advantage.
